Hi @fermentedphil, you won't be sorry. It really is way easier than one thinks. The candy is not evenly distributed after the initial mixing, but as it heats up in the oven, it mixes better after the first 15 min. I sprinkled extra salt on it when it came out of the oven.
It's weird how the first handful of Diddle Daddle tastes so good, and then kind of falls flat!
The homemade version is a different story!

        Sorry about taking a week to reply! Safe to say, I was so busy I could not even attempt to make some myself. But this week will hopefully be a bit better. I needed some of this snack to keep me company when I presented my paper at the conference! It would have made everything much better haha.
